  • System Call Logs: Access to call logs on your device (incoming, outgoing, missed calls) to enable AI-powered suggestions and networking insights. Only collected with your explicit consent.
  • Usage Data: Basic app usage analytics to improve performance and user experience (if enabled).

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To scan and extract contact information using OCR technology.
  • To allow you to organize contacts into groups.
  • To export data to formats like Excel or Google Sheets.
  • To sync contacts to your device when you request it.
  • Cardify needs access to your call history to track interactions with your contacts, detect missed calls, and help you manage follow-ups.
  • To improve app functionality and fix technical issues.

3. Data Storage

  • All scanned data is stored locally on your device unless you export it.
  • If you wish to backup your data to recover from any accidental data loss on your device like device theft, etc., sync securedly on cloud storage as well.
  • If you wish to use Cardify as a collaborative tool for your team, you can securely sync your data to cloud storage.
  • We do not store your scanned contact information on our servers.
  • You are responsible for managing and backing up your exported data.

4. Data Sharing

Cardify does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.

  • We do not share your scanned contact information with third parties.
  • Data is only shared externally when you choose to export or sync it.

5. Permissions

The app may request access to:

  • Camera: To scan business cards.
  • Storage: To save scanned images and exported files.
  • Contacts: To add scanned contacts when you choose to sync.
  • Call Logs: The app uses call logs to provide core CRM functionality such as tracking interactions, identifying missed calls, and generating follow-up reminders(only with your explicit consent).

Permissions are requested only when required and can be revoked through your device settings.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

7. Third-Party Services

Cardify uses third-party OCR (Optical Character Recognition) services to scan and extract information from business cards. When you use the scanning feature, the card images and extracted data may be processed by these external services. These third-party providers are bound by their own privacy policies and only process data to provide OCR functionality. We recommend reviewing the relevant third-party privacy policies to understand how they handle your data.

8. Children's Privacy

Cardify is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
